Skyelanders Reel Off Another Win
|
The Glendale Skyelanders earned a close win over the Namuko Puckmen, thanks in part to Patrício Zeta. The Glendale left-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the RML in wins with 8, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. Glendale has now won 7 games in a row.
Kun Paek had a big run-scoring double for the Skyelanders in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Glendale leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from David Marsh and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Skyelanders ahead, 3-1.
Paek said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
