Waimalu Wins Divisional Tuesday, October 11th , 2039 The Waimalu Nene bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a Surf and Snow Cup championship. Waimalu downed the Kauai Monsters 7-4 tonight at Waimalu Grounds, to take the Divisional 3-1. "It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Gerry Embling, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the Surf and Snow Amalgamation." For the series, Embling had 7 hits for .467, with a .467 on-base percentage.
