| Breaking News |  | SS-A News: The Offseason Begins Wednesday, September 28th, 2011: The cathedrals of baseball are silent. Another Surf and Snow Amalgamation season is in the books and what a season it was! The champion has been crowned and the winners sent home to decorate their trophy cases. The fans have been left with many exciting memories to recall over the offseason. League awards will be announced over the coming weeks, but while players head for vacations and the ballparks are empty, there is plenty going on behind the scenes.
The offseason is a time for baseball's front office gurus to turn their attention to getting key players under contract, making key financial decisions and for laying the groundwork for next year's campaign.

If you want the AI to select the awards, simply ignore the option. |  | Sweet Sweep for Mokule'ia Monday, September 26th, 2011: Today the Oceanic fans broke out the brooms at Bay Bears Ballpark and it worked -- Mokule'ia swept the Sitka Capitals 1-0 and are the 2011 Surf and Snow Amalgamation Pacific Pennant champions for the 1st time in their history.
The Oceanic derailed Sitka 7-3 to rap up the title.
Mokule'ia finished the season with a record of 53-37 and ranked first in the Hawaiian League Aloha. |  | Hernández Rumored to be Unhappy in Fairbanks Friday, September 23rd, 2011: It is unknown at this time if there is any truth to the rumor that Fairbanks's Jorge Hernández has asked his team for a trade.
