Yánez Sensational, 5-for-5 Sunday, September 4th , 2039 Fans at Field of the Storks got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season. The Yasu Storks outplayed the Kilauea Volcanoes en route to a 17-1 win, but the standout was left fielder Roberto Yánez. Yánez netted 5 hits in 5 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line. "Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Volcanoes manager Chris Simpson said in postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too." Roberto Yánez singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Cheol-min Song in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Pablo López in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
