Tuesday, June 26th, 2029
The manager of the Barbe HS Buccaneers said he thinks Scotty Weeks is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 18, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2029 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Western Conference Outstanding Hitter Award.

His winning campaign featured a .265 batting average and a .336 on-base percentage this year. In 54 games he piled up 52 hits, 10 doubles, no triples, 23 home runs, 56 RBIs and 35 runs scored.

He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 20. Raúl Cisneros of the Horizon HS Huskies finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Michael Roberts of the Wilson Classical HS Bruins finished third.

Tuesday, June 26th, 2029
At the age of 17, Juan Rincón of the James River HS Rapids could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2029 was good enough to win the second baseman the Eastern Conference Outstanding Hitter Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .315 batting average this year, as well as a .364 on-base percentage. He played 54 games and racked up 67 hits, 10 doubles, 2 triples, 19 home runs, 41 RBIs and 38 runs scored.
