Sosa Rips Bowling Green for 5 Hits Saturday, August 13th , 2039 Omaha center fielder Richard Sosa had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Bowling Green Rebels at Ghoulardi Ballpark as the Insurers picked up a 6-4 victory. "He was patient up there today," Omaha skipper Tetsu Konishi told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Sosa has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Richard Sosa hit a solo-shot off Mick Abbott in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.
