The 21-year-old left fielder put up a .325 average and a .390 on-base percentage, piling up 185 hits, 59 doubles, 8 triples, 13 home runs, 106 RBIs and 77 runs scored. |  | CAAL's Best Hurler is Canó Tuesday, October 4th, 2011: The Edmonton clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Miguel Canó will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2011 Canadian Alliance Outstanding Pitcher Award.
Canó made 25 starts this year, winning 16 and losing 4. He threw 196 innings, fanned 91, allowed 157 hits and 38 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .220 average as he logged an impressive 2.34 ERA. | |
