Omaha center fielder Richard Sosa had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Bowling Green Rebels at Ghoulardi Ballpark as the Insurers picked up a 6-4 victory.

"He was patient up there today," Omaha skipper Tetsu Konishi told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Sosa has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Richard Sosa hit a solo-shot off Mick Abbott in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.

This season Sosa has hit at a .279 clip with 35 RBIs, 8 home runs and 46 runs scored.
