Ton on Fire: 5-for-7 for Niigata Saturday, April 14th , 2040 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Niigata's 26-6 win over Lincoln today, first baseman Yong-u Ton was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Gigans Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Ton said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Yong-u Ton flied out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
