MacEwan, Garza Suspended for Fracas Tuesday, August 30th , 2039 Nathan MacEwan of the Beantown Browns and Stephen Garza of the Akron Ambers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Browns-Ambers game at Beantown Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN MacEwan and Garza will begin serving them soon. Thus far in 2039 MacEwan is hitting .280 with 6 home runs, 32 RBIs, 45 runs scored and has compiled a .340 OBP. For the season Garza has made 42 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves and compiled a 3-4 won-lost mark and a 4.78 ERA. In pitching 81 innings, he has totaled 46 strikeouts and 30 walks. |
