Ambers Mathematically Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 13th , 2039 The Akron Ambers will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2039 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Akron was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2037. In total, the Ambers have missed the playoffs 22 times in their 33-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Ambers have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
