Zhu Dominant in Raleigh Win
|
Raleigh got a strong outing from Ding-bong Zhu as the El Dorados defeated the Fayetteville Braggarts, 4-1, at El Dorado Field. Fayetteville's current losing streak is now 4 games.
Zhu, the winner, is now 1-0. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 6 hits, while collecting 12 Ks. He essentially shut down the Fayetteville offense.
El Dorados manager Ralph Gunther praised Zhu after the game. "I keep telling everyone," he said, "'Don't go to sleep on this kid.'"
