|
The Aberdeen Golden Sands went down to defeat to Álex Vargas and his Chesapeake Bay teammates. The final score was 5-2 in favor of the Oysters. Earning his 1st save for Chesapeake Bay was Naohiro Seki. The win elevated the Oysters to 38-24.
River McCausland, the 36-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. McCausland contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Chesapeake Bay up, 5-0.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said McCausland. "And not try to do too much."
