Machado Helps Chesapeake Bay Cruise to 11-1 Win
The Fayetteville Braggarts and Chesapeake Bay Oysters riveted fans at Ballpark of Chesapeake Bay.

In the 11-1 Chesapeake Bay win over Fayetteville, the impact of Ernesto Machado was substantial. Machado, who is tied for 7th in the AML with a .411 on-base percentage, went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Álex Vargas went 7 innings for Chesapeake Bay to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 1 run. He scattered 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 9. His record improves to 4-1.
