Chesapeake Bay Gets Another L, 7-2
Chesapeake Bay second baseman Bernardo Alvarado had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Alvarado was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, even as Jefferson County beat the Oysters, 7-2. The losses continue to mount for Chesapeake Bay, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Yue-jiu Cheung went 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for Jefferson County. The 24-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Álex Vargas. It was his 18th walk of the season.
