Namuko Breaks Through for First Win in Wild Card; Now Trails 2-1
The Namuko Puckmen have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Kyoto Rodan, winning 4-2 at Puckmen Ballpark today. Puckmen right-hander David Walker threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win cuts the deficit facing the Puckmen to 2-1 in the best-of-5 Wild Card.

Namuko grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 1st, Arturo Carolino delivered a 2-run home run, to make it 4-2 in favor of the Puckmen.

"It's a big deal," Walker said of the win. "If we had gone to 0-3, we're pretty much out of it."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Sunday, September 11th , 2039.
