Myrmidon Need Extra Innings to Top Grizzlies, 4-2

The De La Salle HS Myrmidon beat the Rocky Mountain HS Grizzlies, 4-2, at Myrmidon Ballpark. Bob Cox, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 2 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. De La Salle HS reliever Octávio García picked up the win, raising his record to 1-1. José Reyes was tagged with the loss. The first-place Grizzlies have dropped 4 straight games.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Cox hit a circle change from José Reyes for a 2-run home run. The Myrmidon, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Cox said.
