Huskies Lose, 8-2, at Skeeters Ballpark
The Yerington HS Skeeters and starting pitcher Michael Reyes stifled the Horizon HS offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Skeeters Ballpark. Reyes picked up the win for Yerington HS, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. Yerington HS currently is in second place in the Western League Northwest Conference at 21-15.

Gerard Weber had a big grand slam home run for the Skeeters in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Yerington HS trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Warren Hickey and swatted a home run to left. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Skeeters ahead, 4-1.

"It feels good to get this one," Reyes told the Yerington HS Chronicle.
