Storks Score Decisive 9-2 Win Over Hanso
|
The Yasu Storks and starting pitcher Carlos Castaneda stifled the Kailua offense en route to a comfortable 9-2 win at Field of the Storks. Castaneda went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 6-7. Today's win puts Yasu at 32-51, while Kailua falls to 41-42.
The Storks got a big at-bat from designated hitter Danjuro Nakamura. For the game, Nakamura went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Yasu a 4-0 lead.
