The Maui Mahi-Mahi topped the Mauna Loa Vulcans by the score of 7-3, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Andrew Gómez. Gómez hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Mahi-Mahi. Sumitomo Kawai got the win, improving to 4-5. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 5. Maui, at 33-33, occupies third place in the Hawaiian League Archipelago.
