Garza Leads Charge, De La Salle HS Blasts Thunderhawks
The De La Salle HS Myrmidon clobbered the Tumwater HS Thunderhawks, 13-3, at Thunderhawk Field. De La Salle HS left fielder Ramiro Garza led the onslaught. He belted 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times. De La Salle HS reliever Daryl Davis picked up the win to move to 1-0. Jason Page suffered the loss. Tumwater HS now is 2-7.

Early in the game, Garza had a 2-run home run for De La Salle HS. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Myrmidon on top, 3-1.

"Good win," said Garza. "Maybe some of the whiners in the clubhouse will pipe down for a little while now."
