Late Magic Gets Mankato West HS 4-2 Win
Mankato West HS turned a good effort from starter Larry Neal into a win over the Lodi HS Devils at Mankato Park. The final score was 4-2. Mankato West HS reliever Jeff Henson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Matt Cooper absorbed the loss. James Miller sewed up the save, his 2nd.

In the bottom of the eighth, Mankato West HS third baseman Manny Guerrero put his team on top. With one out and the bases loaded, he hit his 2nd double of the year. Lodi HS pitcher Eric King served it up. Just like that, the Reds were ahead, 4-2.

"Feels good to get the job done," Guerrero said after the game.

Mankato West HS goes to 3-3.
