In a low-scoring tilt between the Carrollton HS Brawlers and the Benedictine Prep HS Infantrymen, Gary Luker was the difference-maker. The Carrollton HS left-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. The win gives the Brawlers a record of 3-8.
Glenn Morgan, the 16-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Morgan contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Carrollton HS up, 2-0.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Luker said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
