Anastasio Torres Injured, Out for Year Sunday, April 13th , 2042 The Oceans received bad news this morning. Anastasio Torres will miss 5 months due to a torn back muscle. He sustained the injury in the San Juan College-ETH Zurich game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Torres sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." For the season, Torres is 1-and-0 with 1 save and a 3.12 ERA. He has given up 20 hits in 17.1 innings with 13 strikeouts. |
