Oceans Reliever Martínez Injured Saturday, April 13th , 2041 The San Juan College Oceans will lose the services of reliever Héctor Martínez after he sustained shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Atletico Castille Sociedad Deportiva Leones. "I'll get through it," Martínez said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 5-6 months. Martínez has earned no saves and a 1-1 mark this season with a 2.50 earned run average in 11 relief appearances. He has worked 18 innings, yielded 11 hits, struck out 9 batters and walked 6. |
