Anchorage Celebrates Wild Card Win Thursday, September 18th , 2042 The Anchorage Mighty Moose may not go on to win a Surf and Snow Cup, but the team celebrated like they had won a championship tonight after securing a wild card spot. "We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said reliever Pat Clark. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that." It did indeed take a tough battle and with their record at 60-50, the Mighty Moose will now look to bring the 1st Surf and Snow Cup championship to Anchorage. |
