Kiyomizu Hits in 20 Straight Games Monday, September 15th , 2042 The hot bat of Grunts center fielder Takeo Kiyomizu continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-3 in today's 1-0 loss to the Avalanche at Ballpark of Cave Springs. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Takeo Kiyomizu struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th and singled in the 7th. This season, Kiyomizu has banged out 104 hits in 359 at-bats for a .290 average with 15 home runs. He is getting on base at a .338 pace and his totals also include 48 RBIs and 57 runs scored. |
