Plummer Swats 3 HR Against Waikiki
Thursday, September 4th , 2042
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what George Plummer did at Iacon Yards, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 4-0.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Plummer said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
The Atsumi Autobots second baseman blistered the Waikiki Coconuts for 3 hits, batted in 3 runs and scored 3 times.
"It ain't like we weren't trying," Waikiki manager Taisuke Endo said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."
George Plummer hit a solo-shot off Alan James in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Alan James in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Alan James in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
Plummer on the season is hitting .329 with 8 home runs. His stats include 14 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
