Yasu's Valturri Snags August Batting Title Monday, September 1st , 2042 In August, Eugene Valturri let his bat do the talking for him. The Yasu left fielder smacked the ball at a .283 average as he laid claim to the Hawaiian League Batter of the Month award. He rapped 14 home runs, drove in 25 and scored 21 runs.
