Peter, on Top of His Game, Beats Akutan Island, 5-0 Sunday, August 24th , 2042 Didier Peter kept the Akutan Island Eagles hitters from doing much damage at Sullivan Brothers Stadium. Akutan Island could only muster 3 hits and draw 1 walk against the right-handed Peter, who controlled them throughout the game. Taku won the contest, 5-0. Peter added 7 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Peter told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
