Volcanoes Mathematically Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 20th , 2042 Not even the most diehard Kilauea Volcanoes fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Volcanoes were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. This is the club's 9th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2033. In total, the Volcanoes have missed the playoffs 28 times in their 35-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Volcanoes have only made the playoffs once. |
