That fact was not lost on Hawaiian League officials, who named him Player of the Week. Raines logged a .500 batting average for the Mauna Loa Vulcans, racking up 3 RBIs and 1 home run. During the current season Raines is batting at a .308 clip with 23 home runs and 57 RBIs. He has played in 73 games and scored 52 times. |
