Kilauea Loses Ángel Pereira for Season Wednesday, August 6th , 2042 The season is ending on a bad note for Ángel Pereira, reliever for the Kilauea Volcanoes. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Pereira was hurt against the Shirakawa Halberds while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 10-11 months. Over the season, Pereira has made 15 relief appearances with no saves. He has K'd 27 batters in 30.2 innings, yielded 24 walks and has a 6.16 ERA. Pereira's record this year is 1-1. |
