Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Monday, August 4th , 2042 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Fairbanks-Barrow contest at Ballpark of Carthage. The Grunts Kevin Callahan and the Arctic Blast Shane Posey will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Currently Callahan is batting .275 with 9 home runs and 21 RBIs. This season, Posey has fashioned a 4-2 mark and 3.03 ERA in 62.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .223 against him and he has logged 47 strikeouts. |
