Torrenas Prevail, as Semifinals Goes to the Wire Wednesday, December 18th , 2041 Depending on your loyalties, the Semifinals was either thrilling or heartbreaking. The series went down to its final game, with the Zapopan Torrenas and the Ciudad Juarez Velas giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Torrenas came out on top, winning 8-4 at Velas Ballpark today to take the series 4-3. "We're lucky to be going into the Gran Final de Mejico," said Zapopan pitcher Ramiro López.
