Round 3 Goes the Distance, Moody HS Prevails Thursday, May 23rd , 2041 In a series that had a little bit of everything, the Moody HS Trojans have edged the Seton Hall Prep Pirates. The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested Round 3, with a 7-6 win in the clincher being the difference for Moody HS and giving them the ticket to the Round 4 with a 4-3 series triumph. "We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Artie Whittier, who was named series MVP. For the series, Whittier hit .387 with a .424 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Moody HS Trojans will play against the Horizon HS Huskies in the next round. Horizon HS won their series against the Sprague HS Torchbearers 4 games to 3.
