Rio Rancho HS Hexed: No-Hit by González Sunday, March 10th , 2041 In a dominant outing, António González of the Lakewood HS Lancers totally silenced the bats of the Rio Rancho HS Goats, finishing with a no-hitter. In the 1-0 victory, González faced only 20 batters, surrendered no hits, had 2 strikeouts and 3 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Lakewood HS manager Bruce Mason said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Jim Hill told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game.
