Torres Batters Villanova Big Time Tuesday, April 8th , 2042 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Jorge Torres -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Lucky Rodents Ballpark and paced the 4-3 Lucky Rodents win over the Villanova Starbursts. After his dynamite batting performance, the Minnesota catcher told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Jorge Torres hit a two-run home run off Parker Wagner in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 10th.
