Portsmouth's Blonke Winner, AWL Best Hitter in August Monday, September 1st , 2042 Franky Blonke put together a good August to earn the Amber Waves League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Portsmouth officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Dockhands left fielder posted a .363 batting average with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This year, Blonke is hitting .270 with 10 home runs and 51 RBIs to his credit.
