No Late-Season Magic Coming: Nassau Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 31st , 2042 Members of the Nassau Vulcans are left wondering what could have been today, as the team has been eliminated from postseason contention. "You look back at a handful of games that easily could have gone the other way for us," said starting pitcher Patrick Riddle. "We really think we were good enough to get to the playoffs this year, so it stings." Nassau last appeared in the postseason in 2036.
