Middle Bass Eliminated from Playoff Contention Friday, August 29th , 2042 The Middle Bass Vintners clubhouse had a subdued atmosphere today, as it became official that the Vintners had officially missed the postseason. "We were close, but not close enough," Middle Bass manager Donald Mitchell said. The Vintners have missed the playoffs 29 times in their 36 years as a North American Farm Team Affiliation franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2039. In the last 10 seasons, the Vintners have made the playoffs 3 times. Middle Bass last won the NAFTA Trophy in 2037. |
