Reyes Hurls Bears to Shutout Victory Sunday, August 24th , 2042 Birmingham Bears hurler Manuel Reyes was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Kingston Suns, shutting them out, 4-0, on 5 hits. "Manuel was very aggressive tonight," Birmingham manager Charles Jeffries said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." Through 9 innings, Reyes tallied 3 strikeouts and allowed 3 walks. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Edward Cooley said.
