League Suspends Franco and Vásquez for Fisticuffs Saturday, August 16th , 2042 José Franco of the Rapid City Rushmores and Adrián Vásquez of the Bismarck Battleships received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Battleships Ballpark. Franco is hitting .265 for the season with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 98 at-bats and played in 34 games. This season, Vásquez has a 7-5 mark in 23 starts with a 3.31 ERA. He has given up 110 hits in 138.2 innings, struck out 97 and issued 69 walks.
