Dalton Bashes 5 Base Hits Friday, August 15th , 2042 Lorne Dalton exploded for a barrage of base hits at Riverside Park. The Govan second baseman had a field day in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Nampa Moccasins, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Dalton must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Lorne Dalton singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far in 2042 Dalton is batting .232 with 4 home runs, 21 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
