Kiyohisa Kichida Injured, Out for Year Monday, July 7th , 2042 The season is finished for Kiyohisa Kichida of the Birmingham Bears. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Bears starting pitcher suffered a torn meniscus while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Kingston Suns. Team doctors said it would take at least 5 months to heal.
