Star of the Week Picked in AWL Monday, July 7th , 2042 The premier performer in the Amber Waves League this week was Caspar Hill of the Drumright Tornadoes. The hot-hitting 21-year-old third baseman put up a .458 average and .500 on-base percentage, piling up 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the AWL Player of the Week honors. At present, Hill is batting .306 with 33 hits and 2 home runs. He has knocked in 20 runs and scored 18 times. |
