Hit Streak for Shanks Reaches 20 Wednesday, June 11th , 2042 Luke Shanks of the Gakidou Onryou extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 2 hits in today's 4-0 triumph over the El Cajon Virus at Gakidou Fields. "Luke has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Onryou manager Henry Carter joked after the game. Luke Shanks flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th. Shanks is batting .332 this season in 49 games with 9 home runs, 39 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 64 hits in 193 at-bats. |
