Lamb Socks It to Macedonians, Cracks 5 Hits Friday, April 18th , 2042 Ray Lamb exploded for a barrage of base hits at Macedonians Ballpark. The Bismarck right fielder had a field day in his team's 11-1 triumph over the Alexandria Macedonians, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Lamb must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Ray Lamb singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jaap Groenevelt in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jaap Groenevelt in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Jen-kan Zhou in the 9th.
