Rafters Star Wins Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, October 20th , 2042 Ramón Vásquez of the Grand Rapids Rafters was in command and couldn't do much wrong when he was on the mound this season. His outstanding 15-3 won-lost mark and 2.13 ERA were big factors in his winning the 2042 Rocky Mountain League Outstanding Pitcher Award. In 156.1 innings of work and 28 starts, Vásquez struck out 126 while giving up 122 hits and 59 walks. He held opposing batters to a .217 average. He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 32.
