Missionaries Advance to Divisional Monday, September 8th , 2042 The dream of raising a championship banner in Provo took a big step forward today. The Provo Missionaries have won the Wild Card, eliminating the Thornton Sun Dogs to advance to the Divisional. Provo won the final game 4-1 and the series 3-1. Sidney Poitier was named series MVP for a huge performance. He hit .538 with a .600 on-base percentage. He drove in 2 RBI, had 0 home runs and scored 3 runs.
